Map: 2009 Mayoral Election Results in NE Illinois

The 2009 spring mayoral elections brought substantial change to the region.  37 new mayors beat incumbents, while 55 races did not feature an incumbent.  132 other standing mayors were re-elected (Note: These numbers are not yet final).
