The Metropolitan Planning Council’s 2005 Annual Meeting
Luncheon will be held October 26, 2005 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. This
year’s luncheon will feature keynote remarks by Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley. The mayor will discuss the
important role Chicago plays in building a vibrant region, as well as
his priorities in the areas of housing, education, transportation, and the environment. MPC
will also present its Burnham Award for Excellence in Planning, which
recognizes planning efforts of superior quality in both process and results with a
$5,000 prize.
