What will you do?

The Metropolitan Planning Council is delighted to confirm Monday, August 7, 2006, as the date for MPC's 2006 Annual Meeting Luncheon.

The event, featuring a gubernatorial candidate forum with Gov. Rod Blagojevich (D) (invited) and Treasurer Judy Baar Topinka (R), is sure to be a blockbuster! In a non-debate format, the candidates will tell us what they’ll do to address some of the Chicago region’s most important priorities: investing in transportation, increasing housing options, improving education, and inspiring sensible growth.

WHEN: Monday, August 7, 2006
11:15 – 11:45 Reception
12:00 – 1:45 Luncheon and Program

WHERE: Grand Ballroom ( East Tower )
Hyatt Regency Chicago
151 East Wacker Drive

As our only fund raising event each year, the Annual Meeting Luncheon provides important financial support for Council programs. With the large cross section of almost 1,000 corporate, civic, government and community leaders and the wide media coverage this event attracts, it is a great opportunity to hear the candidates outline their positions on specific issues.

General admission is $150 per ticket and $1,500 per table. Sponsorship tickets and tables are priced from $500 to $25,000. Download an advanced registration form  describing table options and benefits at each level or call 312-553-2000 for purchase information.
