Great news: We’ve scheduled the next Public Workshop for residents interested in applying for the next round of Illinois Green Infrastructure Grant funding! Through our Milwaukee Avenue Green Development Corridor project, we provide property owners in Logan Square with funding to install rain gardens, green roofs and other measures to help reduce flooding and ease the burden on the sewer system during storms. (As a reminder, you’re required to attend a Public Workshop to be eligible to submit an IGIG application.)
Keep in mind that the funding is targeted at property owners in the area along Milwaukee Avenue between Kimball and California Avenues, to better measure the effects of many projects concentrated in one place.
The workshop will be Saturday, March 30th at 11 a.m. at the Logan Square Comfort Station (2579 N. Milwaukee Ave./Chicago/IL/60647).

We look forward to seeing you March 30th and answering your questions about IGIG!
