Bus Rapid Transit

Visit website

Bus rapid transit is a high-quality, high-capacity bus service Chicago should explore if we host the 2016 Olympic Games. As part of our work to reduce traffic congestion and improve transportation options, MPC is helping to coordinate regional bus rapid transit proposals, encouraging connections between BRT, job centers, and communities, and exploring financing options to cover the maintenance, operations and expansion of a regional BRT network.
