Watch the second session of this year's virtual Drinking Water 1-2-3 Academy, highlighting the facts, trends, and challenges of lead service lines (and their replacement) in Illinois. This virtual event featured:

  • A data-informed opening presentation on lead service lines in Illinois - honing in on related legislation, challenges, and opportunities for equitable impact by Brenda Santoyo, Little Village Environmental Justice Organization (LVEJO).
  • moderated panel conversation featuring insights into innovative public utilities communications strategies, cost saving through predictive-analytics, and lead service line replacement funding methods,  moderated by Monica Eng, WBEZ and featuring:
