MPC's Annual Meeting Luncheon will be Tuesday, April 3, 11:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers. For information call 312/553-2000.

You are cordially invited to attend the Metropolitan Planning Council’s 2001 Annual Meeting and Luncheon featuring keynote remarks by John McCarron, longtime urban affairs writer and columnist for the Chicago Tribune, and now, vice president for strategy and communications at MPC.

John has some barbs and bouquets to deliver after three decades on the urban and metropolitan beat. He’ll also urge Chicagoans—city and suburban, labor and business, press and politicians—to connect better, regionally, if we’re to succeed globally.
