Push is on for school finance reform


HICAGO HEIGHTS - Proponents of Illinois education funding reform say they are ready to "take their show on the road" with hopes of convincing residents and lawmakers statewide of the need for better school funding.

A crowd of nearly 100 education officials, legislators, business and civic representatives and residents gathered at Bloom High School on Monday for an outreach session sponsored by Network 21: Quality Schools for Stronger Communities.
