MPC Spotlight: Carolina Macias

Carolina Macias joined MPC in April 2018. She provides organization-wide administrative support and works closely with MPC’s programmatic committees, research assistant program, the land use and planning team, and the equity committee. Outside of MPC, Carolina is a Chicago chapter member of Democratic Socialists of America. Thank you for all-around team effort, Caro!

Q&A with Carolina

Chicago region native? If not, where are you from and what brought you to the Windy City?

I am a proud Chicagoan, born and raised in Little Village!

Favorite weekend beverage?
Beer from 5 Rabbit Cerveceria and Casa Humilde -- my two favorite local breweries.

Favorite music genre?
I can’t choose only one… Reggae, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Cumbia, Tamborazo and maybe some old school Reggeaton.
