Executive Advisors

Executive Advisors are regional CEOs (or highest-ranking regional corporate officers) who lend their names in support of MPC's work and make an annual commitment of at least $15,000. There are no required meetings, but individuals are welcome to become involved in issues of interest to them or their companies. Starting with Bill Osborn of the Northern Trust as our first Executive Advisor in 2002, this group continues to add new members.

A primary motivation for joining MPC's Executive Advisors is civic engagement and the desire to contribute to the vibrancy and vitality of Chicago and the surrounding region. Executive Advisors are listed on the MPC letterhead, in our online Biennial Report and in materials distributed to other corporate partners and donors.

Benefits, such as visibility derived from partnering with a results-oriented organization, also include:

  • invitations to exclusive networking events;
  • workshops, panels and seminars featuring peers;
  • volunteer opportunities for an organization’s senior executives; and
  • personal MPC issue briefings or workplace Lunch & Learns, upon request.
